Walking Home

from Young Wolves Split by Anderson Mesa

/

lyrics

Where do I even begin, picking up the pieces, when its way too hard to
let go, maybe its that I never said enough or anything at all, but
I've been burning bridges here for far too long when every memory
that's left, leads back to you.
As I look to the picture hanging in my room, it takes me back to every
night I should have held your hand.
My ears are tightly wrapped as I counted the steps away from your
house, I've got nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide, so if I walk a
little slower cause there's nowhere left to go.
But I wish that you could stay right here, right next to me.
The days grow longer but the nights never end, and all I've got left
is a handful of regret. But as I look to the picture hanging in my
room, it takes me back to every night, I should have held your hand.
I'm still got up on every word you say and I wonder if I'll ever be ok.
